Advanced + CEX

Floating-rate exchanges and routes with separate wallet swaps.

5 min readCurrent exchange release

A route with a CEX exchange step

Advanced + CEX connects the selected assets through a centralized exchange provider. It can add separate wallet swaps where an asset is not offered directly. “Advanced” describes routing flexibility; it is not a promise of a better rate, faster execution or stronger privacy for every pair.

The provider quote is floating-rate. The estimated receiving amount can change before settlement because of execution price and route costs. Always review the amount again after a source wallet swap.

When both assets are directly supported

  1. Select the sending and receiving assets, their networks and an amount above the quoted minimum.
  2. Enter the receiving wallet and a refund wallet you control. Both addresses are validated for their selected networks.
  3. Select Review route. Read the estimated receiving amount and any route notices.
  4. Create the order after review. Save its ID and receipt before payment.
  5. Fund the order on the sending network while its deposit window is open. Follow the order’s exact instructions.
  6. Track the provider’s progress and the actual receiving transaction.

For example, ETH on Robinhood can be exchanged for ETH on Arbitrum. The symbol stays ETH while the funds move to a different network. This route still has provider costs and source gas.

When your source asset needs Uniswap

For a supported stock or token, the app first checks a token → ETH Uniswap V3 route on that asset’s chain. It also checks the provider leg and receiving address before offering the first wallet transaction.

  1. Connect the wallet holding the source token and switch to its network.
  2. Approve the required token amount, then confirm the source swap. Some tokens require an allowance reset before the approval.
  3. Wait for the swap receipt. The ETH output remains in your source wallet.
  4. The app reserves ETH for gas and requests a fresh provider quote based on the actual swap output.
  5. Review again, create the provider order and fund it separately.

If the provider is unavailable after the first swap, your ETH stays in your wallet. You can request a new quote later. Do not repeat a source swap whose transaction is already submitted.

When your destination asset needs Uniswap

The provider sends ETH to your receiving wallet first. Once it arrives, connect that receiving wallet on the destination chain and request the final ETH → token swap. You must control this wallet to complete the last step.

The app checks destination liquidity before the initial step, but liquidity and price can change while the exchange is processing. If the final swap is no longer available, the delivered ETH remains in the receiving wallet. It is not automatically returned to the source chain.

Example route: a Robinhood stock → ETH in the source wallet → CEX exchange → ETH in a Base wallet → a supported Base token. Each arrow can represent a separate action; the whole route is not one atomic transaction.

Provider completion and actual delivery

For supported native ETH payouts and native SOL, the app checks the receiving chain before displaying Funds delivered · verified on-chain. A provider’s completed flag can arrive before an independently readable receipt.

Direct ETH verification checks the network, successful receipt, transaction hash, destination and value. Contract-batched transfers may need tracing that this verifier does not provide. Other assets can show Provider reports completion; use the explorer and your wallet to check the actual asset.
